Evan Heller launched the chapter last August to enable Bergen County professionals to pass on qualified leads and grow their business, he said.
"All the other professionals in the group will work as your personal marketing team," Heller said. "You can get a bunch of people in your network who will then talk about your business to their network."
LeTip groups are open to 100 members with differing professional backgrounds so that there are no conflicts of interest.
The Oradell group currently has 16 members, including an insurance salesman, mortgage lender, realtor, travel agent, attorney, pet groomer, and web designer, Heller said.
The group meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Panera Bread in Paramus where a different presenter from the group will speak for 10 minutes, and another member will share professional materials from their business.
Each group member also gets an opportunity to talk about their business and pass on tips and leads.
Heller, who has added 10 new clients since starting LeTip, said he gets more out of the group than just business referrals.
"I've gotten to meet 15 other people who are phenomenal at what they do and learn about their lives and what helped them in their business," Heller said. "A lot of these people have become my friends as well."
Professionals who are interested in joining the Oradell LeTip chapter can email Heller.
